Autumn Exhibition Kadmium 2019
At the autumn exhibition of artists' association Kadmium Delft I show a new flower still life with the title 'Expressionismus'. The work is part of my Project Preserved. The source of inspiration in this project are still lifes from different style periods in art and culture. This flower still life is based on Expressionism and in particular on the famous flower still lifes of Jan Sluijters. The material in this work also consists of artificial flowers and props from the thrift store with a certain autumnal atmosphere. The work is for sale in a limited edition of 7.
On 22 September and 5 October I will be present between 2 and 5 p.m. You are welcome to come and view the work up close on a large format. Can we exchange ideas about work, art and life ;-)
