Pulchri Studio - Autumn Exhibition 2025

The annual Autumn Salon at Pulchri Studio in The Hague, a vibrant exhibition of contemporary visual art, opens this year on September 13, 2025.

The exhibition will feature my work titled Art Deco. This still life exudes the atmosphere of the eponymous art movement that emerged in the early 20th century. Geometric figures and sleek, somewhat industrial forms were the innovative elements of this style. With its stylized and sculptural shape, the arum lily seamlessly fits the visual language of this period.

Art Deco is part of my Preserved series, in which I recreate floral still lifes from various art historical periods using found artificial flowers and thrift store props. The work is also available for purchase in an edition of 7 in the Pulchri Studio webshop.
