Balancing Act 

Pulchri Studio's hall features an ongoing exhibition featuring only small-format works. This concept allows you to take a piece home immediately after purchase, making it an ideal spontaneous art gift. I've enjoyed participating in this exhibition several times.

This time, I'm exhibiting Balancing Act, a still life with an alienating touch, reminiscent of Magritte's surrealism and the geometric playfulness of the Memphis Group.

The work is part of the Preserved series, which consists of recreations of floral still lifes from various stylistic periods in art history. In this series, I use only materials, such as artificial flowers and vases, found in thrift stores.
